Lady Lisa and her family have traveled to many countries, exploring historical sites and observing native animals and birds along the way.  Lady Lisa is an avid wildlife and travel photographer who loves capturing the beauty of God’s creation around the world.  Many images in her books are inspired by her own travels and personal photography.  

Faith has always been an important part of her life—she has attended church since childhood and continues to enjoy worship and singing. She grew up surrounded by animals, from rabbits, dogs, and cats to more unusual creatures such as baby skunks, kangaroo rats, river otters, prairie dogs, and a flying squirrel. Her love for animals was shaped early on by her father, a wildlife photographer, making it a natural fit for her to write books about the animal world. Lady Lisa writes children’s books to help young readers discover the wonder of God’s creation and to inspire kindness, curiosity, and a love for the world around them. At home, she enjoys life with her family and her pets.
